Unhappy Low end hesistation

Hello! I'm a newbi in this forum, so please be patient to me

I have done a search on this forum but haven't found the answer to my problem.

Actually I'm even not sure is it a problem or a normal thing...

I have some low-end hesistation, it especially shows itself in 1st and 2nd gears... You can see it for sure when you just rolling around the idle (or maybe around 1200 RPM) in 1st or 2nd gear and then press accelerator smoothly - the car starts hesistating for a little while and after that goes smoothly (when RPM reaches 2K). But if you push the accelerator hard there's no hesistation.

It is not that bad, but i feel like something is wrong. This was since i've bought the car a year ago.

I have no 3800RPM hesistation problem. Removed cats.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Er, no.

Zrad droogy!

Have you done a complete tune up? Changed your plugs, fuel filter, air filter, wires, etc.? Start with the easy stuff first then diagnose once you have the basics out of the way.

Yes, i've done a basic tune-up:
changed spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, air filter and some other minor stuff...

Do you really believe that the cause is the removed cats???

No, I don't see how opening the exhaust is going to cause hesitation.

We know you've done a tune-up. Have you checked your timing and set your TPS?

TPS is the throttle position sensor. If you look at the first page of this section there is an FAQ thread if you read that you will learn a bunch of abreviations and other great info.

Chief,

Download the Factory Service Manual
http://208.62.166.66/guest/shop_manuals/ (thanks Bill) If you don't have it already. You can set the TPS using the light or DMM methods. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ht=set+tps+dmm
