low coolant buzzer sensor gone bad? How to fix/disable?

Is the sensor for the low coolant level buzzer the one in the top of the radiator or is it elsewhere?

My car has plenty of coolant and the buzzer comes on/off intermittently. I believe it to be faulty.

It blows zero white smoke out the tailpipes and the level doesn't move so I know it isn't leaking/being spit into the motor.

Can't I just cut the wire (brown with white stripe) and ground it as a fix?

Thanks in advance.... buzzer sound driving me batty.

Yes.

More likely you have air in the system. Try bleeding it as per the procedure in the FSM. If that doesn't fix it, the FSM will tell you how to test the system to find any faulty parts.

Don't cut anything. Test first. If you need to temporarily disable the system while you get it fixed. disconnect the wire fron the sensor and ground it. Don't leave it like that, it could cost you your motor...

I will try bleeding all the air out.... I took off the cap already and added water after the Tstat opened and thought that was it..... maybe I need to do it a few times.

Thanks for the info.

Anyone else have any ideas?
