low-beam relay problem

Being my first non-performance modification on my T2, I changed both beams, as the pass. low beam was believed to be shot. After replacing both units, the low beam still doesn't work on the pass. side. Is there a common problem with the relay going bad in these cars? Can someone tell me where the relays are loacted and if there is a quick fix, besides the obvious?

Tell you what. After the lighting circuit leaves the Dimmer Relay, the wiring for the left and right bulbs is spliced together and by god its should work if one or the other lite works. You need to pull the plugs off the passenger side(or pull the light out) and put a meter on the Red wire with a White stripe and see if there is 12v there on low beam. What I'm saying is , is that if the right side works on dim then the left side should work on dim because the power comes from the same source with no relays after the dimmer relay. You've either got a bad connection at the light assy or a break in the splice where both left and right tie together. It makes more sense if you will llook at page 50-48 of the electrical schematics in the 88 factory service manual at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/Technical_I...ice_manual.htm its a free down load. I just downloaded that page 50-48 and compared it with page 50:30 out of the 87fsm. The wiring is identical after the Dimmer Relay. If one works, the other should unless its a wiring defect.
