Only 2 ways I know of to get that lug nut off now:

1. Find a new key
2. Hammer a socket over the top of it (it will ruin the socket of course).

As for squealing brakes, new ones are prone to slight squealing till the pads and rotors seat to each other. Also, did you use anti-squeal compound on the back of the brake pads? Did you spend the extra money to get GOOD brakes, not the $10.99 auto-zone specials?

If they are stock rims, a trip to a dealer with your VIN in hand can get you a new key.

Use a sears socket(or any low quality made in Taiwan). It is soft and will hammer on the lugnut easily. Plus, if you break it, it will be replaced free.
Can't remember the size. Try between 3/4-1.25 inch sockets. 3/4 used to remove all the generic locking lug nuts from the car part stores. The cheapo sockets would develope a hairline crack but held enough tension for multiple uses.

What pads are you using? Shims? What rotors? Greasy finger installation?.....

Squealing can be caused by numerous things. Some pads are just noisy. Some people forget to use the antisqueal goop on the bad of the pads/shims. Some people forget to use the antisqueal/heatshield shims that connect to the back of the pads. Some forget to clean new rotors. Some calipers don't release fully and need replacing. Some rotors will squeak if they had greasy fingerprints on them. Some calipers that don't float easily will squeak. Some pads need 100 mile wimpy driving break-in.
Some rotors need snake oil like this:
