Lost Gas Pedal Feel (88 N/A)

We wired the 6th ports open properly, and then went for a cruise to test it. Before we even got a chance to romp on it, he lost 99% of the gas pedal feel. We pulled over and poped the hood. It ended up that the accelerator cable came out of the little holder thingy behind the intake mani, BUT then it stalled out. We have no clue why.

us = :? :? :?:

So we limped it home.

Would anything we did with the port cause either the throttle to come lose all of a sudden or cause the car to stall at idle?

hmm it sounds to me like you guys touched something else without knowing while working on the ports,
and the car should not die out with the ports open
put the acc cable back on properly and tighten it, adjust the idle and recheck

We did put the cable back on snuggly, and it was ideling fine. Just a couple revs to see if it would come loose again, and it just died. He just took it home. Tomorrow we are going to go over everthing and see what happens.
