and the lord said: "let there not be anymore radio signal!"
I was driving home from school today and I turned my radio (aftermarket Sony Xplod) volume down for a minute, and when I turned it back up... nothing. My antenna still goes up normal. The antenna cable is connected at the spot in the rear driver corner and the back of the radio. It doesn't play anything on any of my stations and when I press SEEK, it reads SEEKING.... and will forever. Is there anything that powers the antenna signal? What should I look for? Could it possibly just be my radio going bad? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Blue sensing wire on back of radio is for power antenna/amp turn on.......that is still probably hooked up because the antenna is going up and down.
However, the antenna itself has probably gotten disconnected from the back of your radio, making you "seek" forever.
..............Or you can just pray to your good lord and see if that does anything.

I would test it with an older radio. hook up 1 speaker, power, ground, blue wire, and antenna.
If it does the same thing it is not an internal issue.....which it may be.
