Loose coil overs, need advice.
It started as a bushing replacement of the front control arms. As I attempted to remove control arm ball joint (huge pain) from the passenger side I've noticed that the threaded pipe that holds the strut in place to the lower mount was loose and turning. Then I noticed that the lower mount perch was missing and on the driver side was loose and coming off.

Anyone know where I can find another one of these Ksport lower mount perches? I've checked ksport site and couldn't find that exact replacement part.
Do I want to use Loctite next time around so that these perches don't come loose?
I'm also struggling removing the lower ball joint, is there a trick to removing it without removing the lower strut mount?
I'd appreciate the feedback and suggestions.

A ball joint separator should do the trick. You need access to loosen the pinch bolt and removing the brake rotor may provide better access. I was taking the whole suspension apart, so I'm not sure that the rotor needs to come off.

Don't use loctite unless you are absolutely certain you want to keep that ride height.
Does anything actually thread into the metal lower mount or does the shock body only mate with the collar? I am immediately unimpressed by k-sport's design in the interest of cost cutting.

I've called Ksport and they tell me that they have gone away from using the lower mounting cup. Not needed just as long the upper lock is tight.
I'm having a tough time getting my front ST sway bar to stay centered as the end links are rubbing against the lower mounts.
