Looking for a specific thread RE Trailer Hitch on FC.

I remember a while ago someone posted a thread where they had put a trailer hitch on their FC.

Now I know there's plenty of threads regarding hitches on FCs. This particular thread was special, as he had hidden the hitch receiver under the bumper skin so that it couldn't be seen while not in use. I believe they made a little cover for it so that it could be popped out when they needed to use the hitch.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? I know I've seen it here on the RX-7 forum, but can't for the life of me find it.

If we're thinking the same one he built it to bring his spare tires for drift events? Think it was a red fc also

I don't have specifics on it. I've seen too many FCs towing stuff. (Including Kevin Landers' FC towing a trailer with a V8 engine block on it.)

But yeah, I wanna check out the hitch because the only hitch I can find for an FC has an integrated ball mount... It's not a hitch receiver. It's just got a hole for the ball.

Impossible to fit a bike rack or tire tail on like this:

the easiest thing to do is to get the regular FC hitch (which I'm pretty sure are discontinued), and then weld a receiver (or box steel) to the top or bottom of the tongue.

I cruised through the "search Forums" last night.
Title..Fc Trailer Hitch..section Sec Gen Specific.

There IS a thread on a hitch that still has a pic of one on a car..(pics get lost in updated versions of the Forum or old posts).

I think the brand is a Curtis??..
It may not help but I too DO remember a shot of someone's car with a little Bumper cap for their hitch but Ya...I am not THAT resourceful..heh.heh!

Disregard... It was never an FC. It was Blake Qualley's 1st gen.
