Looking for a single fuel pump able to handle 475hp tops.
What should I look for? Also is there any equations i can memorize for fuel systems so I don't have to keep doing this?

I think the Bosch 044 is right at the limit at that kinda power.
We're talking at the rear wheels, right?
The Walbro 255lph limit is right around 450 or so, and I wouldn't want to go more than that.
Hell, I wouldn't push it over 420 - 430 with the Walbro.
I have a handy chart on my website, but it's not up right now. :P
I'll post the link once it comes back up.

The Accel EFI fuel pump looks suspiciously like the Bosch 044 unit.
The flow and price is about inline with the Bosch 044.
I'd run anything from the Aeromotive "EFI Fuel Pump" or lower...
I really like the Mallory Comp-110FI for it's price, and I'll probably go that route when I need big fuel.

Now my engine is stock but I need to replace the fuel filter and clean the gas tank out so I'm replacing the pump right now. Is that going to hurt/help the performance at all until I actually need all that fuel? Is the bosch some kind of booster relay or is its own intank pump?

Well, my 434 was on a walbro, And my base was only like 32 (static). After reading your fuel page, it just confirms what I already knew.. Its a good pump!

I have modified the whole fuel system to the max with the walbro. Upon putting in a bigger pump it apears that it was past it's limit around 400rwhp as I have begun to lean out my map up top with the new addition.
I went with the A1000, just a tick better(10-15%) than a walbro.
That mallory looks to be right on the money for my 1000x2 -1680x2 injectors should I want to drive them to the limit.

Upon more research it is about the same as a the A1000 flow wise.
It says it is quiet though. Would have been a good choice over the A1000 budget wise too.
Lower pressures are great on these big externals but, start looking at flow around 75psi and they aren't so hot. I have a feeling that these were made more for blown(5-10psi superchargers) not 25 psi turbos.
The a'pexi intank is the only single better than the walbro/044 from what I have read. At that price you can do a external eliminator for less, and flow more.
I would have done the eliminator right off the bat but, too big of a pump can be a problem.
That supra does flow more than a walbro, Rxtasy has done some great power with it a while back.

Don't hate on the Supra TT pump.
My buddy uses one on his VR-4 with dual Evo III 16G turbos and is making around 600awhp. Of course he has a Kenne Belle Boost-a-pump practically maxed out, but when he was on his old WRX turbos he was probably making in the mid to high 400's with the Supra TT pump.

You can't compare power output from a piston engine versus a rotary engine.

Not sure why some of you wouldn't use the Supra pump. Don't be cheap, its an OEM part that comes with OEM reliability. I used my 720/1600 injector combo with the SupraTT pump and did close to 400rwhp on 93oct with no problem. and HIGH 400rwhp on race gas with room to go.

I gave up on the 400hp dream, my 87 NA engine is too far from that, and only has 68k miles. New plan, reliable track car, do I need to upgrade my pump at all for fast hard runs on the track or am I ok?
