I am looking to develop a hard top for my s5 rx7 convertible... NO im not going to just replace the rag top because of damage. im actually trying to develop a hard top to accommodate a good cage and still hold the aerodynamics. of the hatch... ive been going off of pictures i have but due to the low quality and my lack of computer programs to edit the photos, im just looking for some blue prints to assist me in my design concepts.... and i will make a thread on the DIY process once i get everything together.

 

Do you still have the original targa and rag top to use as reference?

 

should be in the FSM under "Body"

 

please keep us updated, I have yet to ever see a hardtop actually get made.

Is your top going to be removable or more to go in place of the soft top?
