Looking for a rotary mechanic in or near Port Charlotte FL
Moved here from California were "Rotary Reliability & Racing" rebuilt my 1988 RX-7 convertible OCT 2020. Only put on about 500 miles since the rebuild, but now its cutting out and needs the attention of a mechanic.

First, Hello and welcome to the rotary community. I live in Venice, 25 miles from you and have an '85 GSLSE and now I have a turbo II '87 as well. I'm willing to bet your problem is fuel pickup filter related. You should pull the fuel pump and replace filters. There is a small round metal filter that gets clogged. Rad Potential had this when he did the dragons tail at Diehls gap. See youtube for video, shows filter.
