Looking for proper mods (bang for buck)

I have a 1988 GXL with new racing beat header, APEX GT spec exhaust (not installed) and K&N Filtercharger intake. For $1300 what is the best bang for my buck and should I just scrap the N/A and go for a Turbo II swap.

Thanks,
Alex

check the faq and search the forum. but $1300 will more than max out an NA engine unless you open it up and do porting but that same $1300 probobly wont cover half of a tII swap. maybea set of coilovers?

Drag car? Go with a TII. Great handling and able to beat all the ricers? Mod the hell out of the NA.

What do you plan to do with it? Just keep in mind, you're going to hit a wall with the NA unless you're willing to spend a whole lot of money. I think you'll find street ported NAs will hit a wall around the mid 2s while you can get a street turbo 2 up to 400ish. Just keep that in mind if you're not on a tight budget.
