Looking for opinions on interior colors

My 87 Rx-7 is White, w/ blue interior... It's in decent shape, but like any 20 year old car, the interior has seen better days.

The floor mats are trashed.
The carpets stained & worn in spots.
The seats are work & beginning to pull apart at the seams.

IMHO, the Blue Interior is.... OK... Not my fav, but I'd rather have grey, or black... Or, I got to thinking, it might work out ok if I mix in Grey with existing blue interior.

I dont really want to do a complete re-do of the interior, but has anyone else done somehting like this, & had it turn out ok?

blue and grey do not sound good, especially with the shade of blue that came in 80's cars... YUCK!!!

either stick with what ya got, or find the grey pieces..... grey/black always looked better on 7's anyway

I've got a mixed interior on accident. My blue is so faded it looks very near to grey. For mine you can't hardly tell a difference. However, I wouldn't suggest it.

Black in a white car would probably look nice.

Blue & Black isnt too bad... and, I could just do that as I phase in Black...

One of my all time fav interior color schemes is the Black trim, w/ tan leather seats, ala BMW...

thats what i was doing but it starts to get expensive quick, and i really couldn't see putting more money into the interior before suspension and everything else was finished
expect 500 -1000 for a good black interior, not including seats
