I don't understand why anyone would drive a car daily that low. hard parking, sure. not my thing but w/e.

I'm not saying meagens are junk either. they are quality products but the damper design just isn't as good as stance. thats the main thing that separates coilovers along with them having either progressive or linear springs. stance just has way better damper designs/function then the meagens. meagens get the job done performance wise but stance is going to give you better ride and be better on bumpier circuits/roads while performing any "spirited driving". Sounds like he should just get meagens if all he cares about is hard parking but even if thats all I cared about I'd still go stance if I daily'd the car too. but what do I know, I like drifting and deal with stiff coils daily because I like the way they feel when I drift.

if the megans are that bad for daily i would wait to get stances. im just looking for opinions atm. btw what coils do you have? would stance be a good guess?:p

If you are referring to what coils I have, I mentioned them earlier. I run Parts Shop Max coils (also known as Powered By Max). http://www.poweredbymax.net . mainly cater to nissan crowd, and they have updated there entire line now. I have the previous version of there coils with progressive spring rates. I mainly drift but daily my car right now. they are not great for daily but I am able to put up with it. they are good on smooth roads but northern VT has a million large cracks ans holes on most of its roads. I would assume that meagen track coils would ride a little better then PSM coils since the dampers I have are geared toward drifting and meagan tracks are probably more for circuit and daily (not that you can't drift on them). my coils also have 10kg F/8kg R spring rates so its a little higher then others. 8kg F/6kg R is the most popular combo for our cars but really its the damper that makes the ride.

If you daily your car alot (like for work everyday), I'd save for Stance. if you only daily your car every now and then and go to meets, you could get away with the meagens and not be worse off. It's your decision like I said. meagens are good units but the damper design is just inferior to stances. so stance just rides a little better. still stiffer but it deals with bumps in a smoother/better way. this is my opinion, and I have not heard 1 bad review of stance coils that were properly set up. I can't say that for meagan tracks. I know a few people who went from meagan to stance and there impressions were stance had better ride quality.

EDIT: PSM now offers a "pro" coilover which it states has smoother dampers and linear springs which make them smoother. I don't know anyone running them on FC's but they are about the same price as stance GR+.
