hey guys , I just got a car that had the engine rebuilt 20 K miles ago , but the owner does not have the paper work , ( his step father had it done ) I know this is probably a stupid question , but does anyone recongnize this sticker . I was told the engine was powder coated red and black . Pleasae pm me with what ever you may have info about

this is just a damn sticker..i could rebuild a engine and put a sticker that says acidangel or youve been had and that would make it offical..but no i dont rec. it why did you need to know for your own info? i say if it been rebuilt then leave it be and see if it was a good builder..

I think thats what he is doing... he wants to know if anyone recognizes the builder from the sticker. That way people can say ye or ne... That's at least what I took from his post and the pic... Its a tamper sticker like the ones used at some dealerships... If you brake that seal, it means you tampered w/ the part and loose your warrenty.

 

That is a homemade label. We use something like it where I work. It's gonna be a longshot to find out where it came from. Good luck though.

When i got my tII the guy told me the engine was rebuilt by atkins rotary and it has a sticker like that. Hope that helps.
