Look what i made!!!1! *Pics*

I posted this on my home forum but thought you guys might like it:

So upon attempt of fixing my door handle i found out that i had a lighted key entry, in light of this i set out to fix it. No places localy had any sort of bulb that would work. I had a few LEDs laying around but were all probrbaly rated at 2.8 Volts or something. I then hooked them up in a series and they all yeilded good light and wernt going to burn out so heres what i did.

Give us a write up, that's pretty sweet man. I'd definetly want to do that and hook it up to soem sort of remote so i can see where to put my key in a dark dark alley with many many girls....

But for real a writeup woudl be cool on just how you did it and maybe be worth archiving?

it looks pretty cool, you should loose some of the LEDs to make it a little dimmer IMO, you get it wired so when the car is on, the lights go off? now that would be cool.

The key hole light only lights up when the car is off, you lift up on the handle, or open either door.

The lEDs look awsome... and "RXciting" what you mean no door handles... and what year 7 you drivin.. it would be awome to have the leds light up with a keyless entry.. simular to how when you turn on your alarm for the car the lights... light up for a few blinks..

I took most of the pics but a few were blurry on the car, so im gonna get a tripod up tonight and it should come out a bit better. Plus, i have to pull it out again cause i think i missed getting electrical tape around 1 wire so i think it shorted out 1 LED' but we'll see. Ill have pics up later.
