Look What I Got!(pIcs)

Hey boys,

I finally got my first Turbo RX7.I saw the ad in the autotrader and jumped on it, my parents lent me the money and I have to pay it back over the summer (I'm workin hard). It is a 1989 Turbo From Japan with 125,000 clicks (about 80,0000 miles) and its in very good shape. It got a crapload of stuff done to it and he showed me the receipts and I was impressed, especially compared to the other junk i'd been looking at. He has done alot of work and taken good care of the car, and it shows. So it is a stock turbo with full exhaust to a single 3" out the back, it has a streetport, intake, a new alli rad and new hoses. It has all new everyhting wheels and suspension (the works i'm tellin yah) and a brand new centreforce clutch.the only two thing that are wrong with it cosmetically are the ripped drivers seat and there is minor paint fade on the hood and front bumper. It is also missing a pin so there is no rear gear at the moment (3 hrs to fix max) and there seems to be a problem with the TPS as it is overfueling, causing it to sputter and die at lower rpms (How can this be fixed????)so idle is a problem. Other than that it is wonderful, it comes with a silencer and 3 yes THREE! free sets of rear tires(WOOT!).I pick it up on thursday. I have been beaming all night I am so excited!!!
Here she is:
(if someone could post these pics better that would be cool, I'm too dumb)
(crap it says they are too big!how can I put up these pictures???)

Very nice car!

I would look into replacing the pulsation damper or doing the banjo bolt mod. Pulsation dampers have a tendency to fail, which quikly resusts in a fire. A big one.

It's an S5, it doesn't have the same type of PD that the 86-88 folks have.

would a damper be the only reason fuel is on the block if the o-rings are sealed an fuel lines are fine

It is the most common reason for a fuel leak on a FC. The S4 (86-88) model, you can replace the Pulsation Dampener with a new one (although some people replace it with a Banjo bolt and hope the car runs okay), although on the S5 (89-91) and S6 (92-96) the whole fuel rail must be replaced with the dampener if it starts to leak.
