You're supposed to use much shorter bolts that don't protrude into the airflow at all. They're probably going to cause as much turbulance as the old plates did. I highly recommend you replace with shorter ones them before you reinstall the TB. You've gone a bit overboard with the sealant too.
The porting and polishing looks good though. And I wish my linkages were still that shiny.

Haha don't worry about the bolts they will be cut and the grinded down. For some reason i couldn't find any shorter ones, so I just used those.
But thats why i said almost finished, got to cut them, grind then, then get rid of the lip, sand smooth and then re polish it.
Also working on poilshing the whole outside also while I'm at it.
When I'm done with this one, i will be putting this one on the car and then doing this to the one on the car now and selling it.

you may want to try chopping the bolts out completely...just clear them out, then cram the open holes w/jb weld, lump it out a little and let it dry for 24 hours...then dremel it down and polish it off to leave it a clean and smooth opening.

i dont think my jb weld is gonna be moving out of those holes
that stuff is really hard. plus if you rough up the surface of the holes it will stick better. i dont have any worries with that stuff. no one should

Ok so i finally did some more to it, now all thats left is to smooth it done and polish it out. But the whole inside of it is smooth, now rough edges at all.
