Long term storage?

So I have a 1990 vert, very clean chassis, that I'm really attached to and want to keep and throw money at when I have the resources.

It was brought to my attention that a like new fully loaded 2013ish kia (boring but smart) will come into my possession soon, which I am very excited and grateful for, but the question arose as to what to do with the fc

My first question was "can i keep the 7?" my dad said I could, and that my uncle would probably let me store it in his garage.

So there are a couple main questions.

Should I bother to keep it? I have every intention of finishing college and hopefully being successful, and I definitely want to continue with my vert as I love it! But is it worth keeping? I can't drive it as it will be registered as non op and I don't want to get caught doing something dumb and get in trouble.

Also, if I am to put it away for a few years, what should I do to prepare it? Once i have the funds, most of what's on it will change (engine, transmission, wheels, tires, suspension, basically everything piece by piece). I really think it's a very clean chassis, and I don't want to have to say "oh yeah I used to have an rx7, now I drive a green kia".

Am i being a dumb kid? Or am I right to feel attached to it? Please knock some sense into me.

Yea you should keep it, spend a bit of money on it over time to make it a nice cruiser.
you don't see rx7s all the time so people will appreciate seeing your rx7 driving around whenever you get it on the road, but at the end of the day it's up to you what you want to do with the car.

Here's a link for proper storage hope it helps...

No ..Joe..you never were well liked and should sell your car so we don't have to answer your threads!

OF COURSE YOU KEEP IT!..why would you ask that?..You know you love it and just want to hang around intelligent people who will Make you laugh, make you cry, sell you stuff and gladly take your money when you need parts!

Then again there is a good mouse out there without a home..So if you intend on being cruel to small animals please do not come back with " I sold it"...LOL!..think of the fuzzy furball!
