It Lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got my 10th AE FC from a guy out here in MA that had it stored in a barn for a few years. I got it home in mid Dec and stripped it. went through the engine found some problems, fix them. lots of surface rust so i was cleaning for a while. the paint is the typical mazda paint. bad primer and paint adhesion etc. so now it runs... sort of. it pops here and there and idles high. any ideas? this is a 1988 10th AE FC TII. TPS? ECU? or maybe something as simple as my throttle cable or cruise control is too tight.

But what icemark is saying is that all your questions are answered many times over in here. Have you read the FAQ at the top? Have you made friends with the search button? Looks like you have not, or you would not have asked these questions. Have fun with the car by the way.

But the little voice in the back of my head says, if he (or she) already knows the answer , why has he not checked those things instead of posting???
