little problem ..please help

just recently this has started to happen ..sometimes when shifting its hard to get in gear/grinds but not all the time. and also sometimes when i push in the clutch it almost goes all the way to the floor without any tension or force except for like the last inch and then it engages ..whats the prob? is it the clutch cylinder or the actual clutch? it never slips at all.

One thing you may want to try if you havn't already is check the clutch and tranny fluid. Change it if necesarry. That's where I would start. If the fluids are low, just refill. If they look burnt/really dark I'd change them. Most people seem to like Redline fluids.

Hope this helps.

Could be a couple of things:

Clutch master is low on fluid, and needs fluid added.

Clutch master or slave has air bubbles, and needs bleeding.

Clutch master or slave has a bad seal and needs rebuilding.

If your brake fluid and clutch fluid has not been changed within 30k miles its more than due.

most likley if it continues you will need a new slave cylinder. Cheep and easy to do just be carefull not to cross thread the two 12mm bolts that go into the top of the trans, very easy to do.
