Listing Symptoms 90' GTU
Allright, my FC runs now, but still not great... here are the symptoms.
I've done the ATF trick, 12 or 13 redlines ago, and it still smokes ( Smoked before the ATF trick )
It jumps from 700 - 1200 at idle ( normally idles at around 1000 )
If you hit WOT from an idle, the car dies. You can't hit WOT until after 2500 RPM.
It keeps 14.4V, around 45# oil pressure, and ½ on the temp gague.
The car sat for about 6 months before I got it, there was a rats nest in the intake. I've done the ATF trick ( got it running enough to idle, erratically ) changed the spark plugs ( The correct NGK's ) changed the oil ( Castrol GTX 10-W30 ), and re-set the timing ( correctly ).
It still has ¼ tank of about ½ 89 octane, ½ 6-month old 87 octane.
I plan to put some injector cleaner in it within the next hour. Any advice, or if you've had simular problems, please post em'

After another 5 or 6 redlines on a brisk drive on country roads, it doesn't smoke anymore.

Still does this, we think it's the primary injectors, because it sputters and spits until around 4000RPM. Any other causes some to anyone's mind?

No clue on this one, it still looms. I checked the MAS and the TPS and they're both fine. What else could cause this problem???

On the WOT problem. I have no idea what this is. If anyone can give advice, or possible causes, please do.

Will this thing EVER stop? Now, it's smoking when it's cold, but after it warms up, it's smoke free.
HELLLLP!!!!

Give it time. I've heard up to three weeks before it stops smoking. The ATF doesn't fix everything, maybe the oil seals are just too worn, it could be something else, what color is the smoke?

The smoke is a thick white/grey. I ran the RX again today, seemed to clear up a bit. I think the problem with the Sputtering can be attributed to the fuel pump starting to go ( Tried to start it on a hill.... yeah, right. ) We'll see how everything progresses in the next few weeks, now that it's drivable again.
