just curious what else people might have concocked for their rex. anything. my 88 vert inspired me to make a lot of defensive items...

my rocket launcher:

go to pepboys. buy a cigratte lighter assembly. get a marker and take out the insides and cut off both ends. get a box of saturn missle firecrackers ( the box of 100 bottle rockets that whenm you light 1, they all go off in sync.)

now take the cigratte lighter, and push the lighter into the housing, and bend the clips so that it is always in the heating up postiotion. take the marker tube and wire tie it to the cigratte lighter. drill a hole in the marker tube. slide the firecracker into the marker tube and pull the fuse out through the the hole you just drilled. feed the fuse now into the cigratte lighter. run it to ground. tap into a power wire. run the wire to a switch that will be hidden. now run it to another switch that lights up bright red when activated.

now flick on the hidden switch. now the system is armed and the other switch should light up red. you are armed. flick the red switch and you have power captin. the cigratte lighter is lighting up. in 3 seconds, the fuse will be lit and the bottle rocket will shoot out off the grill or wherever you postioned it.

the reason i made this is because in my vert, i always have the top down. i also drive like an *******, and im always pissing people off. nothing sucks more than having someone bigger than you come up to you at a light with cars in front of you with your top down to kick your *** for cutting him off.

not any more. fire one of those screaming rockets at his ***, and chances are hell leave you alone.

or how about a solonid activated opening in a container postioned at the rear of the trunk. activate the solonid, and the container releases a small burst of BB's. some ******* tailgating you at 80mph and you want to get away, 500 BB's would do a nice job to him

or how about buy a windshield washer assembly, motor and all. postition it under the rear bumper. fill the container with ARMORALL. someone tails you, spray the wiper and violia. ever ger armorall on your windshield while cleaning it? as soon as you spray the guy chasing you turns on his wipers, he smears the armorall all over his windshield and cant see.

or on a serious note, i designed a switch for my 6 port actuaters. heres a link. the pics start the finished product, and go down to the switch at the end.

i got some metal brackets and dremmeled them. i use the 6 port actuator nut to hold it on. the 6 port sleeve is in the engine, thus its grounded. the bracket is isolated from the point of activation on the switch. i used LEGOs because of their shape and grindability. at teh top of the legos, is a flexible piece of metal. i used the metal part on a floppy disk. i cut it and screwed it into the lego, but not all the way through into the bracket. now the metal slab on the top of the lego os isolated.

there is a little cam type thing at the end of top of the 6 port shaft comming out of the vaccum canister. it is the shaft's stopper. now, that metal slab has a wire soldered to it. you have to use SUPERIOR flux to solder onto the slab cause it's steel. regular flux wont work. now that wire goes into the car. its run to a light. the other wire coming off the light is the power. the light always has power!! the light is GROUND activated.

when the 6 port shaft fully opens and the cam contacts the metal slab and squeezes it between the cam and stopper, the light is grounded.

X this by 2, one for each 6 port vaccum canister. now when thety fully open, the light goes on. i can see if one is holding up, when exactally the both open, what ever. then if i have some way of prematurely opening them, i know exactally when it happens.

i think i might want to put a paint ball gun in my grill too, and solonid activate the trigger. that would be cool to have. someone going too slow in fromt of you ...

you can even hook up a solonid to a plate. set it up next to your liscense plate on a rail. when you activate it, it covers your plate. now you can shoot people and no one knows who you are
