lim removal, thoughts

I well be removing the lower intake manifold and thought I should ask around about anything else I should replace, clean or inspect while I am in there?

Gaskets, vacuum lines, fuel lines if anything needs it. I just took mine off and got the Pineapple racing 5th and 6th port sleeves in now. Just inspect everything, you don't want to have to take it off again soon.

Is it really that bad. I figure it can't be worse then a valve cover gasket on a vs engine right?

You have to think it's a 25+ year old car. It might not be that bad, at the very least you will need to replace the manifold gaskets. But, like anything just be prepared for what you find.

1987 na. I was going to clean the aux ports. The guy I bought it from cut the pipe going the the cat and they have not worked in 2 years or so. I am getting a pipe put back on to run those ports and need to clean them up. Also one of the sleeve rods for the actuator looks to be broken.
