lightweight specs needed...
Does anyone know the weights of
FRP - Fiberglass reinforced plastics
CF - Carbon Fiber
Sheet metal on Rx7
and Fiberglass..
just general weights per square inch/foot/cm...
i found some FRP fenders so im interested if they might be lighter the CF....
let me know

I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure the order of specific strengths (strength/density) goes:
kevlar, carbon fiber, fiberglass, aluminum, steel
As far as FRP, I believe the process is mixing short glass fibers with plastic before molding, so the specific strength will be lower than fiberglass for car bodies, because the fibers will be spread at random at a lower density. I've used that method to make ribs for an airfoil.

CF is genrally stronger/lighter than kevlar in structural applications, but this is a pretty rediculous post; thickness, rigidity needed, shape, construction methods etc etc etc all factor into how heavy/light the thing is. You could make a CF fender heavier then a stock one if you wanted too,..
