Anyone know what the cooling fan light is for?

This light indicates that your cooling fan (the small fan on the front of the radiator) has turned on. It also means that you are running mucho hot, since this fan only comes on when the main fan cannot keep the radiator water sufficiently cool. Investigate and repair ASAP!

Both my TII's had the fan, but no light.

I've only seen a couple with the light.

Actually the light goes on when there's a malfunction of the small electric fan...
