lets get some exhaust sounds.

i want an exhaust with a great low hot rod sound. yes i know i wont be able to get it, but this would be a great thread to hear some noise. and that would definitlyt help me pick an exhaust. plus any thing bigger than some rigged up 1in exhaust system. i would love to HEAR some proformance exhaust systems. hopefully this turns out good.

Here is my system. It is a Borla cat-back with a test pipe, and a Racing Beat header.
You might get dizzy, or sick with the first video (alot of movement).

Here is one at the track.

And here is another walk around.

Hopefully they all work.

Nice car, not too loud and not too quiet. Now it's my turn...

Engine startup
Engine idle
Take off: 0 to 70 MPH

Sorry about sound quality, I recorded it on my laptop.

i kept hearing the popping sound from evileagle's '7, could that be the result of lean fuel ratio?

you get what you paid for. the true duals do sound nice, and must come with a price.

Yep they are freaking expensive compared to corksport stuff. But I can tell you honestly after having several exhausts on my FCs RB and RB true duals are #1 bar none. I'd do it all over again.

Heh, no.

The popping on the first one is shooting a couple small flames, and the popping the second time is me knocking a bunch of crap off my workbench while recording.

When it pops/afterburns/backfires/flames its more of an indication of rich not lean.

Yea, I just appreciate the extra power from the duals and the extra quiet over the Collected duals.

I can't stand a collected exhaust's DRONE. Sounds so freaking nasty to me, even with RB cans.

ok question, if you work at corksport, why use a highflow cat instead of your guys 80 mm midpipe? just to reduce sound or what? not trying to be a dick just asking a question.

I don't run a highflow cat normally, I usually run our midpipe. I had to smog my car I made that sound clip after I put the cat on. I just made it because to show a buddy of mine from out of state how much quieter it is with a cat.
