Left hand turn signal works sometimes?

Ive had sort of an intermittent problem with my left hand blinker, ocasionaly it wont click on. I can hear the sound (although faster than normal) clicking, but theres no blinker being produced from the bulb. The Right hand side blinkers both work fine with no problems ever.

as of recently the left hand has stopped working completly, for awhile i could hit the top of my dash, and sometimes it would turn on, or if the car had a hard jaring it would work for a bit.

Basicly the left side of the car has no working blinkers, when i hit the hazards, only the right side turns on.

Ive searched and most people have problems with both blinkers, and hazards, and it turns out being the baord in the CPU. But, i havnt found anybody with only 1 side not working.

Is there a specific place i should look from a problem? switch, CPU, ect. ect. any help would be much apreciated
