leaning out fuel mix(searched)

hey guys i have a 91 fc s5 duh.. its being smogged erer in central cali and it only ned to passs on a basic smog no dyno. i hooked it up to the sniffer to see where i was at in manual mode. my HC's are lowest ive ever seen on a rotary cali max 100 im at 32 steady. my O2 level is also good under 1% the problem is the CO2 is over by.3 and tahat means its running too rich. there is still a slight idle bounce at 3800 but who doesnt have that problem. at 2500 its fine its the idle art that off. its gotta hold 1%co2 for at least 30 seconds. so i need to thin out my mixture just alittle. the tps is right and timing is spot on and the idle is at its legal tops for smog. we even tried causeing a minor vac leak after the afm. and even tried plugging up the idle set connector on the batt side.

my question to all you true rotary fiends (i did mean fiends) is there any way to lean out the mix more with out a piggy back fuel computer

i bow to you for help

When is the last time the car had a tuneup? If it's running too rich, then there's a problem somewhere that should not be band-aided by messing up something else (or installing an aftermarket fuel controller).
