Leaning out about 4k. Rpm

S4 Jdm turbo motor running rTek 2.1.

I am having issues with the car leaning out all the way to 18 or higher AFRs over 4k. I can keep it running that high if I ease it up there, but the moment I try to give her anything more she bogs out and goes lean.

I am thinking the secondary fuel injectors are not coming on, fuel pressure was saying about 46 psi.

how can I touble shoot the secondary fuel injector circuit and what are the parameters for them to come on?

I'm pretty sure there's an old thread that hailers participated in regarding metering the injector function. I myself metered the injectors at the ecu via back probing the appropriate pins.

My first question would be whether or not you've metered the injectors themselves to determine if they're good to start with.

Silly question, but what is your secondary injector staging set at ? I've got mine at 3,100 rpm.
I'm also fairly certain you can log the secondary injector flagging on your palm as well as pulse width.

Let me know what you find.

I have to double check the staging flag, I thought I lowered it from the stock point. Will the Log for the injector pulse width tell me if the injectors have a loose connection or will it just till me what the ECU is telling them what to do?

I feel like this is a wiring issue. Since moving the harness around that leads to the TPS will change how she is running at idle.

I'm pretty sure monitoring the injectors from the rtek will only tell you what they're being instructed to do.

If you knew there was a wiring issue, why haven't you corrected that first? There is never a situation where moving wires around changing a behavior is an acceptable thing to leave be.

Look into your wiring problem, ohm out the secondaries, and double check your settings on the rtek.

This is the exact same issue I'm having. Also have a rtek 2.1. Feels like your hitting a wall/losing all power ?
You should start by checking the diode that's right near where the ecu plugs into the main harness. Mine got fried and I replaced it with a higher amp one.

But I can't figure out what caused/causing it still. I checked the resistor box,a few grounds, but I haven't had time to travel through all the circuits that go into that diode but the fuel pump and relay/resistor pack is one of them.

So an update.

I found out that I "fixed" it, after I pulled the wiring harness that runs across the engine that has the tps, and fuel injector connectors on it towards the driver side of the car. I am talking about the large loomed wiring harness.

I have a feeling I have a bad wire or connection somewhere.

After that I was getting Mid 10 AFR under 4psi of boost, and she kicks like a mule again.

I am going to have to tare into the harness and see if I can find the problem.

I would hook up a laptop or PDA to see what the rtek is seeing for the TPS. I have a feeling my problem is do to a bad connection with the TPS sensor. and by moving the harness I think I took stress off the connectors so they made a better connection.
