Leaking Injector leads to sputtering/stalling

Hey everyone,
I'm looking at an RX7 right now and it has one injector which is leaking through a hairline crack in the orange top part of it. When the car is started, it will sputter and stall unless the gas pedal is pressed but once it is let off, it will stall out. I believe that this is due to low fuel pressure because of the leaking injector but I just want to confirm my diagnosis because I am not very familiar with rotary engines. Also, will this leaky injector have any negative side effects on other components such as the fuel rail? Thanks.

a crack in the Pintle would have no effect on injector operation, other than the spray pattern would be off slightly.

A sputter and stall upon starting is a classic example of a major vacuum leak.

The injector is cracked on top so the fuel is actually leaking out above the engine. I'll check the hoses tomorrow for vacuum leaks.
