Leaking fuel injector?

Leaking fuel injector?
Has anybody had a leaking fuel injector? And I don't mean leaking to the
outside of the engine, perhaps the kind of leak that will flood the engine. I am pretty sure that is my new problem, but I would like to hear other stories. Here is the problem:
Start the car after it has been sitting for 8 or so hours, the car starts immediately but kind of like 'bugging' (is that a word?) for the first 10 seconds, and then everything goes back to normal. Now this doesn't happen if the car has been sitting for a short period amount of time, say 4 hours.
Now this morning, the car started immediately like always, bugged (Not sure if that's the right word to describe it) for a couple of seconds and then:
BAM!, BAM!, BAM!, BAM!, BAM!, BAM!
Yup, there were 6 backfires (or explosions), I bet my neighbors loved this at 5:30 am
So that is my case, please share your experiences!
TIA,
KNO
BTW - The car runs fine, and has plenty of power (as usual)
