leaking clutch fluid at firewall

I have a new problem. I had a pretty bad clutch fluid blowout yesterday morning. Much of the fluid seemed to leave the car soon after it was parked for a couple hours as there was a large puddle under the car when I left. I brought it home and bled the clutch line, which was pretty dirty, and at that point the reservoir was empty. Now the clutch works better than ever, even reverse doesn't fight me like it used to, I'd have to put it in 3rd to spin the synchro before sticking it in reverse and now I don't have to. I'm concerned that I may still be leaking clutch fluid though. Obviously I'll keep an eye on it, but I'm not sure where it could be leaking from. There were no signs of leakage from around the bleeder valve nor anywhere under the reservoir, so I'm kind of at a loss... My next step would be put it up on stands and see what other lines I'm missing, but if you guys could point me in the right direction that'd be great.

An update today: I'm definitely still leaking fluid. I found where it's going, between the floor pad and the firewall. I tightened the cylinder bolts, but that didn't seem to help. How do I fix this? Can I take it apart, clean it, and reassemble or does something need to be replaced?

you can rebuild the clutch master cylinder easily enough. Get the rebuild kit from a parts place and read the FSM. Its most likely leaking out the back of the cyl where it is actuated by the pedal.

Me, I would get a rebuilt clutch master cylinder from Autozone, wasn't a lot more than the rebuild kit and then I have a warranty on it. Only downside is that you might have to wait for them to get it in and there is the core deposit but you get that back when you hand them the old one.

you can get a rebuild kit at Napa Auto for $17, or just buy a new master cylinder for $42 (no core charge) I believe.
