Alas you're messing with the AE model At least you could paint another Limited edtion paint code like the 15 rotary AE 1st gen, Enfini Turbo II 2nd gen, R2 3rd gen, or 15AE rx-7 3rd gen paint code:

Ya, but I just love the look of a dark multi-layer clear coat black. Its just so damn sexy .. the paint it has now is done with. I gotta follow my heart, and white just does not cut it for the look im trying to attain.

ahh no I am keeping the emblem for sure! Thats half the reason I bought this car. I was just looking for a TII originally but i came across a unbeatable deal on this car, with all the extra's; leather, power everything, Cruise control, and all the other goodies it tured out to be exactly what I wanted ... just the wrong color. And like I keep saying it can always be repainted.

Plus I think I am hanging onto all the addon goodies. I got the factory sticker.. about 5 coppies of the AE poster, the factory advertisments, the factory mailer to the dealership anoucing the release of the car, and all kinds of paper work extras. Also I have the Bra, floor mats (both flawless) and both the 10 AE keys. I will hang on to all that stuff and some day i might even make it white again.

dude seriously, if you're gonna change the color of a 10ae, just sell itand get you a really nice 91 im sure you could get one with already enw paint or that needs one, and either way more than make money back on it after buying the new car...spend that on a turbo upgrade or something

Come on guys, all the other AE owners should be happy: scarcity and demand raise an item's value.
I'm in the process of buying a 10AE, and I'm not sure it'll always be white. Finding ANY TII around here is hard enough- I'm not going to pass on this one just because I think I may want to change things later on.
To each his own- besides, its only a paintjob.

Or you could take an AE and pull off all the emissions, headlight washers, rear window washers and a whole pile of other parts in a quest to make it really fast. The only thing I've done to defile the AE is the new rims and S5 tails. And to think this car only has 40,000 miles on it
