larger compressor wheel

My friend has an 88 turbo II with a fully rebuilt stage 3 street port. He still is running the stock turbo but is looking to get more power out of it. We want to port out the compressor shell and put a bigger compressor shell and run 12psi out of the stock turbo. I think you can run 12 psi out of the stock turbo but i'm not sure. I don't know as much about TII as I do FD's. Is there a place you can get the compressor shell milled out or should we just do it ourselves? We have a place we can do it, but if there is a place that will do it, and do a great job for not too much money it would be nice to know. So if anyone can help me out here it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can just put a t04b comp housing and wheel on, just search for hybrid turbo's. Or you can go to rx7store.net and check out the different stages of BNR hybrids that they sell.

Here saved you some time http://www.rx7store.net/category_s/128.htm

I certainly wouldnt recommend machining the compressor housing by yourself. Maybe forced performance could help you out, they do great work.

ditto

if you don't really feel like sending it off and have a local turbo shop they should easily be able to put on a T04B housing and compressor wheel, i wouldn't suggest trying it if you have no turbo building experience since the assembly needs to be dynamically balanced.
