Lambo doors on 2nd gen?

it's up to your preference in the end. they're cool to look at sometimes (esp the re fds). mm... motorization...
but i agree with domesttuner with the suicide door idea. but in the end it's always going to boil down to the people that like them vs the people that don't.

Rice or no.. Guess that all comes down to your definition of rice.
My definition of rice is something done to the car to attract attention of the car that is not necessary to the functioning of the car.. IE, does not make it go faster, function better, or be more reliable/easier to work on etc. Further, if it meets the aformentioned prerequisites, it should also be done half assed, or tacky or gawdy or totally out of place.
Lambo doors would seem to qualify. HOWEVER, if done right with the proper installation kit, they are not going to look tacky or gawdy (until they are opened and ricky racer joggins suit guy getes out), and may even aid in getting out of the car in tight places) so the argument could be made that its NOT rice.
On the other hand... if somebody tried to put labo doors on their car by using parts from their mothers old washing machine and the doors don't latch right and fall off the car from time to time.. I'd have to give that one the RICE stamp!!!!
AS for My own opinion.. I don't calssify the Lambo style doors as rice, HOWEVER, if there are lambo doors on that car, I'd bet my left nut that there's be enough rice on that car in other places to feed the population of a small country!!!
