Koyo Radiator Install

88 RX 7 Convertible
Ok my Koyo radiator just came in the mail. I went to the auto parts store and bought a lower and upper hose and clamps and a thermostat and gasket.
First question they only had a flex hose for the upper they claim its just as good, does anyone disagree with that?
Secondly anything I need to know or any pointers, etc anything I need to replace while I am doing the radiator swap?

Third and final question should I use antifreeze and water or (Red line water wetter and watter or Super Purple) and how hard is it to install a water pump since I am doing the radiator?

the water pump is easy you just have to take the belts off to get to it. The rad hose should be fine I've seen a couple of people that have that flex tubing for their 7's however I have never used it. The install is very simple all you have to do is use the side straps from the old radiator and the fan shroud mounting kit that should have came with it. I used a fifty fifty water/antifreeze combo and it has been working fine. Good luck
