Koyo radiator fitting into an S4

Searched about for threads with S4* koyo in them and only really found one... And it was from 2 years ago.. They were saying there wasn't one for the S4 and one guy said he got one for an S5 and used it in his S4, and just had to fabricate one side of the mounts....

I know they have a little trouble fitting into the S5.... But was wondering.... Do they fit well in an S4? Or do they still need custom mounting?

There is an S4 specific one I believe. People have used the S4 in the S5 successfully but you have ot mod up a hose.

Yeah, I know there is one now. As I said, that post was from like 2 years ago.. So maybe there wasn't one then?

But what I'm wondering is if you have fab up some mounting for the S4 one in an S4?

The Koyo comes in both S4 and S5 versions. The S5 version has the long filler neck that mimmics the stock rad, and the s4 version has the filler neck on in the middle of the top tank.

Both the S4 and S5 versions of the koyo require that you retain the side mounting straps from your stock radiator.

I am using an S4 koyo in my S5 car, using S5 side straps. Id does work, however I needed to do minor fabricating to get the holes of the strap to line uo with the predriller holes on the Koyo.

And lastly, I highly recoment absoluteradiator.com as a vendor for radiators. Their customer service is incredible.

If your NA was running too hot your larger radiator is a band aid, not a fix. NA's shouldn't have to worry about running hot like a TII would.
