Knock Sensor Questions
Folks,
replacing sensors and connectors and I had some questions.
Car is S5 Turbo II w/ stock ECU.
I am replacing the knock sensor. I pulled the old one because it was unresponsive. There was some grey goop on the threaded end of the sensor. It looked almost like moly grease. I don't know if I need to clean this or to how repack it (and with what to repack).
Also having trouble tracking down a torque spec on it. It wasn't fastened very tight at all either.
If you guys have some info on this, please let me know. I'd like to get this thing dialed in this weekend if I can.

it should just be installed dry, and it just needs to be tight. not sure how you'd get a torque wrench on it
