Knights sport chip installed
I put got my knights sport chip today and tossed it in, its running good (both rotors) with the n374 ecu it floods out when the secondaries come on cuz i had the extra 2 550cc injectors still hooked up so it was gettin way to much fuel i just wanted to test it
I'm hopin my eprom burner comes soon so i can read the bin files and removed the fuel cut on my tom's ecu
anyways let me know what you think

is it a ebay "knightsports" chip or the real deal? if it is a ebay one does it actually remove fuel cut? you should do a service for the s5 t2 community and go dyno your car with a before and after and post the results.
Either way, aren't those flashed (programmed or whatever term you wanna use) for specific mods? If your car doesn't match the mods on the chip won't you blow your motor?
Those were my excuses for staying away from "chips."

i have an ecu thats tuned for my motor set up this is the ebay special lol
i'm getting a eprom burner/reader so i can just look at the bin file to see if the fuel cut is removed
so far with the stock n74 eprom it keeps the fuel cut to the rear rotor ..that same ecu with this "knights sport" eprom runs both rotors so it must have the fuel cut/revlimiter removed
once i get my burner i'm goin to read the bin files from that ebay chip and my tuned eprom so i can removed the rev limiter and fuel cut on my tuned eprom
so it will work in the north american car
the ecu is tuned by tom's racing for my engine and set up for 15psi
the motor came with all the goodies
i figure the fuel and revlimiter removed will stick out like a sore thumb between the 2 bin files so we'll see
i am mostly after the timing maps the fuel i'm getting a SAFC and WBo2 so i can fine tune that
between that chip and my eprom burner i'll only have 140 dollars invested in this
you can't get a professionally tuned standalone for that price
i have a stock n374,tom's tune, and an ebay knights sport eprom.....i'll post the differances between them all

I believe that must be what he did, unless there is another shop in his area with the same name. Also, I have a question. Where does this "chip" install? I don't work on cars professionally, but I am quite the tinkerer. I have had a few pals buy those cheap mod things on ebay, and they were usually the equivalent of an inline "dongle" that you cut and splice in or plug inline in your harness somewhere. They are usually only a set of resistors to send back an altered signal to your ecu and/or to sensors; somebody just did a little math to figure out how much to change these for some gain. I believe that most who design things like these aren't ever concerned about the drawbacks or risks of their chips, only that they provide some measurable amount of increase in performance just to prove the money wasn't wasted. I would stay away from economy stuff like that, but thats me.

my engine came as a package basically a front clip minus the actual car it came with every.....lotta goodies
the chip is right in the ecu.....its basically the brain...it has all your fuel and ignition maps...you have to desolder the stock eprom and solder in the new one....they usually come with a base so you can just pop in other chips after without desoldering and resoldering them
it definately isn't the 65+ HP chip for $8.99
