Key slot light...broken?

ohkay when i got my car 4 monthes ago i could lift the handle at night and the key slot would light up. unfortunately this doesn't happen anymore! anyone know how to fix this? thanks

the plastic piece looks fine, hmmm this is pissing me off

I think cymfc3s means is the plastic piece that holds the bulb in place, inside the door. Is that broken.

Have you pulled the door panel off yet and looked? There is a small bulb in there to the side of the key cylinder. Its common to have the plastic thingy break and the bulb fall down into the door.
