keep frying ignition coils ( leading )

keep frying ignition coils ( leading )

Long story short cars a '86 with a S5 block and a megasquirt, I've blown 2 coils since I've gotten it running again. Any ideas y or were 2 start?

most likely caused by some kind of improper wiring somewhere by a previous owner

Yea I figured it was wiring any clue were 2 start testing crap

or the megasquirt settings are wrong and you are running to much charge time on the coils. Which will overheat them and kill them.
