Just when it started getting good, something breaks

after dragging my *** outta bed at 4am today and going to work for 5 i noticed my dash, side markers, turn signals, glovebox, and tail lights had gone out, while my headlights and shift-up light still work. taillights only come on when brakes are applied. after searching - its not the possible fuses, i checked them all, so i'm gonna pick up a new light switch along with a new wiper switch since mine only works on one setting (might as well replace both switches at the same time).

obivously i need to remove the gauge cluster to access the rear section, my question is, can this all be done without removing the steering wheel? removing the plastic steering wheel column cover is ok, i remember doing it before, however i just suck with steering wheel removal. so if i keep the gauge cluster in the car and not take it completely out, should i be able to replace both switches in the car with the steering wheel left on? thanks.

You should be able to take the guage cluster off without removing the steering wheel, however it may get in the way and make work difficult.
