Just replaced the oem exhaust ...

All I have to say is wow that thing is a piece of ****.
It literally desintegrated in my hands.

Anywayyy the new one is basically a stock exhaust with a test pipe and two generic mufflers ,,, but the exhaust sounds great !

I've been blowing crazy amounts of remnant coolant out of THE EXHAUST due to the fact that the car it was on before that I took it from, had a blown apex seal

The car runs sooooooo much better now as I had expected due to the clogged cats and rediculous amounts of exhaust leak lol.

On a s ide note my car doesn't hold a charge anymore now that I changed the exhaust ? lol

Will look into getting the battery checked out .. probably get a yellow top or something

Wait, what? You blow crazy amounts of coolant out the back because you have a blown coolant seal...

get a red top not a yellow, yellows aren't meant for cranking they're more for RV power type stuff

Huh? Um...are you saying that the last car it was on had a blown motor so there is a puddle of coolant just laying in the exhaust (that didn't spill out during shipping, install, etc.)? That doesn't sound right.

Yes, it's a 15+ year old piece of **** that's been subjected to the elements for all that time. God forbid it fall apart after this long...

An apex seal going wouldn't be the reason for coolant in the exhaust.

Something is continuously drawing power from your battery while your car is off. You can use a DMM to find what it is.

You mentioned that you installed generic mufflers.....RX7's generate serious exhaust heat! If the mufflers aren't designed to withstand it, you'll burn them out in short order.

^+1 I destroyed a cheap oem replacement. All of the sudden my car got louder and I was missing a few muffler pieces.
