just a quick question

My brand new(to me) S4 FC just got flatbedded here, and for ***** and giggles I tried to fire her up and I am hearing this spinning sound constantly and the shifter vibrates.. Out of curiosity what is this?

If engine is turniong over, sounds as though no compression and the engine just spins and the reciprocation is causing the shifter to vibrate. Has the car been sitting for a while? Any history?
Give some more info and the guys should be able to help.

sitting for about a year, guy sat it after throwout bearing went out
