Just ported my intake manifolds.

Well i just finished porting my intake manifolds and i must say it was a good deal for the money(5$).Iwas able too remove alot of material and i smoothed out alot of bends that were sharp. When i took it for a drive i noticed a huge gain in exceletarion and the top end was nice too.I recomend this mod to anyone,if you have an na fc try it out its worth it.

I dont HAVE too post pics,I didnt have a camera on me at the time. How much polish did i use?I didnt polish anything,i used a carbine brill bit cut to away the metal then used another bit to smooth it out,It turned out very smooth (more smooth than what it was)and shiney if that what you mean by polish? As for the powerband,The engine responded better at all rpms, But was most noticable in first and second for me(auto). But a difference was still noticed in 3rd and 4th.Its considerly louder now especially when you push far on the gas.I get the impression you dont believe me? is this supossed to be hard or something because it was easy, and not to mention fun! gosh!

i bored the opening and went down as far as i could without cutting too thin,i focused mainly on the uim.i prob cut about two centameters on the bottom two outer holes and tried to shave as much off the inside that i could.the top alittle less maybe a centameter im sure i went alittle too big on both though, but im going to take it back out when i swap my auto to a 5-sp this weekend and redo it alittle better. how did you port your tb?

i took out the plates and then i just rounded the sides and then i made the center sharp for better airflow. look @ fc3s pro to learn how to take off the plates. i dont recommend taking the thermo stuff out. cause of cali, cold start is needed
