Okay, so i picked this 89 FC vert up today, and got a good deal on it. What would you guys be willing to buy this car for? The interior is good, except the seats are torn, and is black leather. The top is slightly ripped, needs buffing, there is 133K miles on the clock, and im not sure if it runs. Here are some pictures, anyways, what do you guys think its worth?

It does not matter what we would pay, it is what you are willing to pay.

I am glad you are taking this on, hate to see another one parted out and scrapped. I bought mine as a project and it feels great to get it together and go for a cruise. Enjoy.

I already bought it, but im considering putting it up for sale, and want to know what people would be willing to pay. I couldnt possibly let it go to the junkyard, i make a point to save as many as i can.

Well then, a few points.

The right front wheel looks like it is folded under, suspension damage?

Left rear wheel gap is huge, looks again like something is wrong.

Is the paint that bad or just dirty?

Good project for somebody though.

It could be the angles and the lighting, but it looks like the car has major frame damage. Looks like a parts car to me. If the wheels are original and in good shape, they are worth some bucks.

  • The roof does not have a slight rip. It is gone and needs to be replaced. ~$1000?
  • A good interior, but the seats are ripped? Seats need to be reskinned. ~$800?
  • Paint looks bad.
  • Exhaust looks like crap!
  • That "Zoom-Zoom" on the bumper makes me think so kid owned it and that lowers the value more.

Don't know how it runs, but I probably wouldn't pay more that $1500.
