no i dont jave those 2 i also need to find the round ones for non turbo rx7 89+


as far as for now i am going to use kodal photo gloss papper
and change the colors of the back lihgts will see how it turns out

 

anybody got 89 and up round guages and redline begining at 8k???

 

Is the photo paper translucent?? I just picked up an 88t2 guage cluster on ebay to do some experimenting on. I was thinking about getting some sort of clear acrillic plastic and making completley new faces and then attaching the paper on the back. I just dont have any idea how to avoid hotspots where the light bulbs are. Any thoughts on this?

 

I'm gonna go and make everyone jealous.. This is neo98's prototype, before he dropped the project..





The only problem is that the front lighting causes a nasty shadow of the needles.. And the vinyl seems to bubble up around the edges in the extreme cold.. But it's still pretty cool.. ignore the fact that the left two guages are reversed.

Can you rotate the tach so that, say, 5k to 8 k is at the top, like they had in race cars in the past ?

hell even the original pic will do but i has to be dismounted from the car i mean like the ones from above but for 89 and up round lil gauges

after all all you are doing is discuraging someone trying to put up some ideas. and thats why they hardly ever make **** for our cars .
people like you say it looks like ****. should say ok i would do this this way and trust me people working togetter come up with the best ideas ever
