while on my way home from about an hours riding between towns i noticed that my water temp gauge had suddenly drop from 1/2 to about a 1/4 until i reached the next town then it went back to half (thats one thing im bugged about). The next thing is my interior brake light came on but the hand brake was not up, usually this could mean failing alternator right????. I also noticed that my fog lights were not on anymore with the head lights on. can anybody tell me whats happening???

 

Check your brake fluid level. That is also what the brake light functions for. As for the others I don't want to guess...
