just installed a Trust strut bar

I just installed a Trust front strut bar in my '90 vert. I bought it on ebay about 2 weeks ago, there are some on tehre right now for $67.00. Took about 10 minutes max to install, just needed a wrench (14mm I believe).

First impression:
I can definitely feel the difference. Doesn't feel as though car bends like it used to on turns, feels much stiffer. Would I buy it again? yes. Hope this is helpful to someone

Are those things good quality? The pics make them look like hollow tubes.

I think the more expensive ones use forged/cast aluminum for ultra-light weight.

I can't decide between the torquebrace/strut tower brace one or one of those.

Not sure exactly what it is made of, but on the auction webpage, it says that it was forged and that it is aluminum. Seems like good enough quality to me, stirdy, but not heavy, the end pieces seem to be the heaviest part of the strut bar. It is made by Trust, which is part of Greddy, so I think the quality is fine. Could be wrong, but I like it

I just put mine on last week, and I like it a lot. However, the bolt on my alternator put a nice scratchy dent in the rear of it...so I filed it down a bit. Also, the pic on www.rx7.com is a bit misleading, one pic they show has blue bases, and the other shows gray bases, mine was gray. I painted them to match the rest of my engine bay parts though. Overall, I'm very happy with it...

Did you guys see the pics of the cobalt and red bar on e-bay that is being sold? I'm looking at buying a bar as well and the pics show what appears to be a solid bar. Some friends of mine have e-mailed the guy and he says all he has left are the polished bars. I'm worried that the trust/greddy bar that is actually being sold does not look anything like the one in the pictures and is of lesser quality. In the pics the cross brace appears to be rectangular and strong. Pics of the GREX bar on RX7.com make the cross brace look like merely a small piece of aluminum tubing while the CUSCO bars are a wide solid unit like the bar in the picture on his auction site. Is the polished bar he is selling identical to the cobalt/red bar only a different color or is it a lower quality bar?
